no control. i thought buying a shapewear with the boyshorts style would mitigate bulges around the outside thighs. I am wrong. these are terrible. I tried a dress with and without them. This is a great postpartum waist band. However, it is very bulky and hard to bend or sit. Unfortunately I could not wear this out because my body just looked so unnatural, it was obvious I was wearing a lot of something under my loose cloths. I was hesitant to purchase this item only because I hated any type of a constriction feeling, but I knew I needed this to wear a form fitting dress on my cruise. For the price, I figured I give it a whirl. Well, It's just amazing AND comfortable AND was perfect for the dress I wore. I purchased a large (I'm 5'4 - 190) since I'm a bit chubby and wanted to be able to wear it AND breathe, but didn't want it to roll down either. Once it's on, you can pull it up to wear it meets the bottom of your bra, so it's virtually seamless. I know I can purchase a one piece girdle, but WHY when this did the same thing? I was comfortable the entire night and slimmed my tummy, took away the bulges and made me FEEL Beautiful - which if course is most important, right!??!? BUY IT! |

Motherhood, I didn't get around to using it until I was 2 months post partum, I had ordered one large and one small as I didn't know which would for once post birth swelling went away. Well the medium fit and I wanted to return the large but was informed that I couldn't as return was only valid for 'x' amount of time after purchase. I think that's very poor business ethics in this day and age. |

I bought this item to help with my posture and my back pain. So far so good. I haven't had it for long, but it fits well and is very comfortable. It's not very practical to wear under clothes to go anywhere, but it is good for wearing at home to hold the tummy in and help support the back. Although I am not using it for it's designed purpose, I believe it will serve it's purpose for postpartum support and be comfortable. I am a size 8-10 with a 30 inch waist. There is only a little more room for someone a larger size, so bear that in mind before purchasing. It is listed as one size. |

I wish the shorts were a bit longer, they tend to bunch up over my thighs. I'm 140 pounds and ordered a medium. It's a tad tight, but is not too uncomfortable. The top stays in place even with constant bending over. Overall good purchase for the price. |

works perfectly under dresses to flatten my tummy. I also like that it has little shorts for those flow-ier dresses. I sometimes get the weird fat bulge between where this stops and my bra starts in back, but it's livable and doesn't too bad or out of the ordinary to really raise a stink about it. |

I took off a star because it might not work for some of us bigger gals. Also it looks really bulky under clothes. I would only use this to exercise or while lounging at home. Overall, great value for the price! |

As it is a cheap one it will stretch out. You can tighten it though. I just thought the elastic wouldn't of gotten all stretchy and wavy to quick. Either way this works. I have not had a kid but it helps with reshaping while losing weight. Also, I have a hard time knowing when I'm "full" and often eat till I'm stuffed. Wearing this I can feel it tightening and I know I can stop and have more food later. I don't wear the third part so low on my hips. I generally keep all the items set under breast to lower belly. |

Highly recommend this this postpartum. I was incredibly stressed out about my 2 week postpartum belly, distended after having twins. I wore the top two pieces (never used the hip one) 24 hours a day for almost a week and dropped 2 inches from my stomach. I continued to wear it nightly for another week and lost another inch. After awhile I just started wearing it on the night before I needed my belly to look flatter. Once I was down to a 29ish inch waist the product was too loose to be helpful, and frankly the Velcro was worn and wouldn't hold well. For the price, it is totally worthwhile for use for the first month or two. |

Fits, offer some control. A little hard to pull down for the restroom if you have your full dress on, but not too hard to pull down by itself. So not impossible to budge like some garments are. |
