I ended up having to have a cesarean and my hospital didn't give me a binder. I bought this and was happy with how sturdy it made me feel walking around. I feel stronger when I have it on. Exactly what I wanted. I expected a tight fit and am currently using it post partum. Used it once and already felt and seen the swelling die down after a few hours. Comfortable and fits nicely. Used this after a tummy tuck surgery it stays in place pretty well. It doesn't ride up like my other binders do. I like the option of being able to tighten it even more with the girdle that come around the side and back. I put in my pre-pregnancy measurements +2" because I just gave birth 5 days before my order and I gained 50+ lbs in pregnancy. This was WAY too big. I'm still 25lbs heavier, so I'm confused as to how this could possibly run small or even the correct size for anyone. Now I can't even see which size I ordered because the size isn't appearing in my order history. I'm going to reorder with a small or extra small- maybe I ordered a medium? I think it could be a good product if it fit right. Maybe it's because I'm putting in my jean waist size which is lower on my body, so if you're going to order- I'd recommend using a string and wrapping really tight in the smallest part of the waist. This product was very helpful for the first 3 weeks post partum. I purchased a large which worked for a while but now at 4 weeks post partum it is too big and the velcrow is not sticking as well. I love this girdle. It's a little bulky, and the "lumps" can be noticed through clothing, but I didn't purchase it to be fashionable. I purchased it to press my stomach muscles back where they are supposed to be after giving birth. I was hesitant to try it over my c-section stiches, but one week postpartum, I was ablessed to comfortably put it on and not disturb anything. |
