Support band after c section

I wife just had a baby a month ago at home, so I had to buy my brace. This is the second brace I've tried and this is so good. I could wear it all day and I have also slept with it a few times. The two bands seen on either side in the middle can be adjusted to give an even firmer fit. Make sure you get the right size for you and it will do it's job well. Seems to fit well and apears as of it will last. I am using mine to help naturally put back a hernia. I can not sit easily while wearing it. and only wear it at home because it shows through my clothing a bit. However I might wear out when weather cools and thicker clothes can be worn. Perhaps my torso is a little too long... These belt did not cover the bit of pooch I had left over- just below my belly button. They are advertised to not roll, but they certainly do. I've only worn mine for about a month and the belt is becoming too loose at the top. It also rides up, and I have to continuously pull the belts back down. It does provide some support, more than the maternity bellyband has postpartum, but at 4 and a half weeks postpartum, I definitely need more abdominal support than what these bands can offer me now. I cant expect much more, considering the price and I dont regret my purchase, since it was much more helpful in the first 2 pp weeks than it is now. It was somewhat snug and uncomfortable to wear at first. But after a few weeks of wearing it for a few hours a day I could tell a big difference in my shape! I just delivered on Feb 26 and I bought this before my delivery to use it on the hospital. It barely fit. Im a M-L in regular clothes. I thought it would help and fit as expected. Very happy with this and I haven't even got to use all of it yet. I was worried about the fit as I'm about 200lbs at 9 months pregnant. But it seems as if it will be stretchy enough. I like the 3 separate pieces, and have been using the smaller 'hip' band as a pregnancy belly support. The material doesn't seem scratchy or hard, I think it will work perfect! |
