This was recommended by my midwife. It was a little tight to begin with, but within a couple days fit just fine. I bought the XL (I weighed 225 on delivery day). I found this to make the postpartum time more comfortable as I didn't experience the "empty" feeling in my midsection. I felt held together and wore this 24/7. My only complaint is the Velcro doesn't hold up well after a couple weeks of using it, but this was cheap enough that I'm not too worried about it. This seems to really help "keep things in". It's hard to say if out runs small since I just had a baby things are a little swollen still but I ordered a size larger than I normally willing have & it worked. They are thick but you want it to cover most of your belly so sitting with it tight isn't very comfortable. This product was very helpful for the first 3 weeks post partum. I purchased a large which worked for a while but now at 4 weeks post partum it is too big and the velcrow is not sticking as well. I should have ordered a medium but definitely recommend for post partum women the first four weeks. |
