Inaccurate sizing - runs very small. Don't bother buying if you are any larger than a 1x. I followed the guidelines and took precaution when ordering my size, knowing from the reviews that they run small. I am normally a size 12/L, so I ordered the XL. When I first opened the package, I thought "no way is this going to fit," but I got it on and it was very comfortable. These would be great IF they didn't have that seam going all the way around that you can see, causes a bumpy line that goes around your butt and you can see it in every dress I tried these with. I'm 5'2, 150 lbs "pear shaped". I've recently gained 20lbs, went from a size 8 to a size 10-12 and let me tell you, I felt like a champion pulling up my fave size 8 jeans!! I went by the size chart and bought a large. The corset has 4 rows of hook and eye closures and I'm on the second row so I'm glad I didn't size down when deciding on which size to buy. These were actually the first in a long like of shapewear that smoothed things out in a way that I liked. I have some belly fat, and it hangs due to a c-section, so normally shapewear just pulls it all up in the middle and I lose my hourglass shape. This kept that while making my stomach look smaller from the side. And they weren't too uncomfortable either! |

This item was entirely too small. I can fit into a large, but something told me to order it a size larger, and it still ended up being tight. In the end, the item does fit me, but it's not worth the chore of pulling and shimmying into it when I expected easy on, and easy off! But I will give this product this: the material it was made up of was very soft and supple and really smooth. Now all that's needed for this product to be more successful is to get the sizing down to a science, and it would be a phenomenal product. |

I've worn this a few times now, and I still love the way it contains everything and gives me a good shape. My only complaint is the shaper does not come with a bra. Unlike others who purchased this, I do not have problems with the front hooks. I normally wear a size 8, purchased a medium and it fits fine. |
