I definitely thought I got the wrong size at first (which I might have) but after a little bit of shimmy and shaking I got in it! My only complaints are that the straps dig into my shoulders too much for my taste and it hugs my thighs a little too tight. I can only wear dresses with it. Okay I took a risk in ordering this piece , seeing as it only had 1 review :/ and I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I really love it . I'm 5"2 I am wearing this piece with a waist trainer underneath because it gave me more shape as well as helped tighten the dress around me all together. The dress is a tad too big (I got a small ) but with the waist trainer and bra underneath it fit to perfection at the top , with the laces tightly zipped . The bottom was a disappointment because the dress flares out . Because I was surprised at the quality of this item and how it fit at the top it was no biggie . I am having a friend alter the sides with her sowing machine so it fits tight from top to bottom . I got this to help with the "bulge" after having a C-section. My clothes just don't fit as they should and I am having some issues with buttons. I got this, thinking it would help smooth things a little. It definitely does. it is made just right where it contours where it is supposed to. I like that it is high wasted and offers coverage the whole way up. I also don't think it suffocates you like some "girdles" do. I am going to buy this in other colors as well. I guess this would work. I personally gave up on the whole girdle idea and just wear my pre-pregnancy leggings. They hold everything in and allow me to move and bend freely. |
