I bought these for my husbands work Christmas party just to flatten out that little pooch in my stomach. Well I got them on ok, it was just a little hard to breath but not bad. We get to the party and take our pictures and and walk a bit to mingle and eat hors d'oeuvres it started to become increasingly difficult to breathe. Once we get to our table and sit down I'm in so much pain it feels like my ribs are breaking and I'm suffocating. Thankfully my friend brought a purse and let me stuff the deathtrap device in it. And when I went to the bathroom to remove them I looked in the mirror and you could still see the pooch. There was no point to these awful bone crushing killers. XL fits my size 16 frame. The shorts kinda ride up but don't show through jeans/pants. It works! People asked me if I lost weight. :-) Only issue is taking it down to use the bathroom... I initially really liked this wrap, and how I am able to put it on myself, always able to adjust it as my body shrinks down after a c-section. Mine cane with two sets of instructions, which seemed to contradict each other as far as which piece to wear in the first week. I ended up wearing the wrong one to start with, but it still gave me support. I'm now wearing two pieces during the day and three pieces at night. I got this to help with the "bulge" after having a C-section. My clothes just don't fit as they should and I am having some issues with buttons. I got this, thinking it would help smooth things a little. It definitely does. it is made just right where it contours where it is supposed to. I like that it is high wasted and offers coverage the whole way up. I also don't think it suffocates you like some "girdles" do. I am going to buy this in other colors as well. Love it...5 stars. |
