I ordered a size large. I usually wear a size 12-14 (pre-pregnancy) & it barely comes together in the front. The scratchy velcro rubs on my belly. But I am only a week post partum so I am hoping it might fit me a bit better in a month or two. I did wear it for 2 days straight (only taking it off at night) & already noticed a difference, but decided to still wait a few more weeks because I felt a bit bruised after wearing on top of already feeling pretty sore after delivery. Bought this based on the reviews I read, and it worked out great, I was able to wear it for close to 24hours, sometimes I even wear it to sleep. The only problem is your skin gets so itchy after a long period of wearing, so I just applied some lotion to relieve the itch. Same for any elastic band material, it starts to get loose, so you just have to keep wrapping it tighter. I really wish they had different sizes in these, because I could barely get two of the pieces on. The third piece that goes around the hips wasn't even close to fitting, but I have large hips. It's also kind of itchy, especially if you sweat at all while wearing it. |
