I have to say, I bought this with the intention of wearing it after birth for pure vanity reasons... however I don't know how I could of done without it! I feel like the back support it provides was even more worth it than for vanity. I didn't wear it until I left the hospital (2 days) and you only start with the bottom piece at first, then a week postpartum add the upper piece, etc... the fabric doesn't bother me, it's soft. It's a bit tight and the three layers don't stay layered when you move. Also it pushes my back fat up and out and is too stiff to wear post c-section. I was 190 pounds. I would suggest for "slimmer" ladies because it doesn't really hold much in.I the best most effective postpartum girdle |
